Online survey tool SurveyCake announced that it has successfully raised $3 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Ventures+, paving the way for the startup to upgrade its service with data-driven analysis and global expansion. The tool with over one million registered users has assisted over 500 businesses like Toyota and McDonald’s gather valuable feedback from target audiences.
Founded in 2012, SurveyCake provides an online survey tool to over one million users across 120 countries. Winning the favor of leading companies across all sectors, SurveyCake’s customers include multinational automotive manufacturer Toyota, electronic device conglomerate Samsung, and the largest fast-food chain McDonald’s. The startup will enhance its partnership with global partners, further expanding markets in Japan and Southeast Asia.
“Surveys now are evolving from mere tools to becoming crucial channels for businesses to build customer touchpoints and drive revenue growth,” said Alex Liu, co-founder of SurveyCake. One of the pain points in traditional marketing is the unidirectional flow of information. SurveyCake addresses this issue with its Survey Intelligence (SI) solution, which offers comprehensive marketing support through questionnaire design, sample sourcing and distribution.
SurveyCake works hard on sustaining innovation. By incorporating psychological tests and interactive games into open-ended questionnaire designs, SurveyCake enhances brand impressions and fosters positive sentiment among respondents. The company has also partnered with Edenred, a leading e-ticket provider, to integrate E-Tickets with survey reward mechanisms, incentivizing users to participate and addressing the common challenge of low survey response rates. SurveyCake has assisted users in collecting over 2 billion surveys, significantly increasing user response rates by 166% and reducing operational costs by 60%.
