On the 13th of November, 2024 Turing Space, a leading TrustTech innovator, has closed a 60 million TWD (approximately 3 million USD) funding round led by Asia-focused Profederal, with participation from prominent international executives including the CEOs of European sustainability and biotech groups. This funding will accelerate Turing Space's ambitious plan to enhance digital identity infrastructure and expand operations across Taiwan, Japan, and Europe.
With over 100 million TWD raised to date, Turing Space is investing heavily in R&D and product development for blockchain-powered identity verification. This latest funding will fuel the launch and growth of two flagship solutions: Turing Facts and Turing Green, aimed at providing specialized verification services for government and corporate clients.
At the core of Turing Space’s technology is Turing Certs, a versatile platform enabling reliable certification verification among issuing bodies, recipients, and verifying institutions. Already adopted by over 400 government entities and institutions in ten countries, Turing Certs is used to verify crucial records such as academic diplomas, medical certifications, real estate contracts, and carbon credits.
The company’s recent product launches, Turing Facts and Turing Green, address emerging needs within specific industries. Turing Facts is designed to validate certificates across fields like food safety and cybersecurity, while Turing Green offers a groundbreaking platform for renewable energy certification, supporting Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs’ green energy reforms and aligning with global sustainability trends.
Through targeted partnerships, such as the Digital Product Passport (DPP) initiative, and a newly established office in Germany, Turing Space is advancing its reach across Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands, building collaborations with leading European enterprises.
“This investment moves us closer to our vision of becoming a global leader in trust technology,” said Jeff Hu, CEO of Turing Space. “With the support of our growing international network, we’re setting the stage for a borderless digital trust ecosystem that connects Taiwan with the world.”
Strengthening its international positioning, Turing Space has formed the Asia Pacific Digital Identity Consortium (APDI) in partnership with Japan’s Dai Nippon Printing (DNP), further solidifying its role as a technology integrator in Asia. Through this consortium, Turing Space will continue advancing cross-border digital identity applications, bridging digital trust across regions.
