The tenth edition of Dragons’ Chamber took place this November in Taipei. Created to support early-stage founders in Taiwan, Dragons’ Chamber is a pitch event where selected startups present their projects to a panel of international investors.
The goal is straightforward: give founders a platform to explain what they are building and receive direct, practical comments from people with investment and industry experience. This year, five teams reached the final round and presented their ideas in front of a room filled with founders, investors, and partners from the local startup community.
Ten years after its launch, Dragons’ Chamber remains the benchmark for startup competitions in Taiwan. The value of this event is not limited to the prizes, but lies in the unique energy that fills the room when the spotlight comes on. Each November, the event gathers a truly international panel of investors. This year the jury featured Revital Shpangental from iunctio, Igor Žilák from Smart Capital, Torbjörn Nordling, Yann Boquillod, and Elias Ek from Enspyre. Their backgrounds reflect the international and practical focus Dragons’ Chamber brings to the local startup scene.
That international mix shaped the atmosphere at this year’s final. The five teams chosen to present reflected the variety you see in Taiwan’s current startup scene, with projects built around both technology and practical needs.
The five finalists reflected a wide range of visions and sectors.
IIST, which took first place, is building dynamic physical authentication for hardware. As the world depends more on secure infrastructure and connected devices, this kind of innovation is becoming essential.
Prompt Master Pro finished as runner-up. Their mission is to democratize prompt engineering and AI automation. The platform is designed to put powerful digital tools within reach of more students, professionals, and creators.
DINEHIRE, which earned third place, is solving a concrete problem for Taiwan’s restaurant sector. By streamlining connections between businesses and part-time staff, they are responding to the everyday needs of a fast-changing industry.
Next Integral and ARMCo Lab completed the lineup, bringing new solutions for industrial inspection and event ticketing.
Each team came with a different kind of energy. Some arrived with polished decks, others with raw ambition, but all shared a desire to make a mark in an increasingly competitive landscape. The mood was competitive but also supportive. For every founder, this was a chance to test an idea and gain recognition within a demanding and fast-moving ecosystem.
This year, Dragons’ Chamber kept its usual focus on bringing together early-stage teams and investors for a straightforward competition. Beyond the prizes, the event gives people across the ecosystem a chance to connect, see what projects are emerging, and get a sense of how the local scene is moving.
After ten years, Dragons’ Chamber has found its place in the local calendar. The event is less about dramatic announcements and more about giving founders a stage and showing how the startup landscape changes from year to year.
